Parashat Vayetze in the Migdalor Latorah series: Starting from Parashat Vayera in the Migdalor LaTorah program the original text is used, divided into smaller units. Each unit is first described in simple "everyday" Hebrew language consistent with the level of Hebrew language development of 4th grade students (based on the Migdalor Program - the Hebrew Series). Each story in “everyday” Hebrew is followed by a colorful and lively illustration for discussion prior to dealing with the original text. The story told in simple Hebrew and it’s illustration are designed to facilitate learning of the Torah by the young student. Each booklet includes many lively pictures, easy and child-friendly learning activities, songs, stickers and more, making learning of the Torah vivid, concrete and enjoyable. Each unit ends with an important verse taken from the original text. The Parasha includes a few Agadot, as well. The students continue to learn how to understand Rashi commentary in a systematic way. matches the level of Hebrew in the "Migdalor Readers" 4 A and 4B. It is recommended to use both series simultaneously as they reinforce each other. However, the Migdalor LaTorah books can be taught separately, as well. Each Parasha has audio-visual aids: 1. a CD with songs from the text and passages read by Hebrew speaking adults and children as well as verses sung according to the Teamim. 2. Posters depicting various parts of the Parasha for discussion and review purposes.
